Who Can Join RampRC
RampRC delivers structured 12 week cohort programmes for young people aged 14 to 16 and young adults aged 17 to 21. Cohorts are organised by age to ensure safe, focused progression. Where commissioned, delivery may extend to young adults up to age 25.
Programmes are suitable for participants supported by schools, youth organisations, local authorities and community services, including those who are care experienced or currently not in education, employment or training. All participants must be able to engage appropriately within a structured group environment.
Participants build, assemble and race radio-control cars in our RC Car Build & Race Pathway, or plan, film and edit digital content in our Media Production Pathway. Each strand develops teamwork, technical skill, creative thinking and practical confidence.
Participants who complete the programme receive a Certificate of Achievement. A signed RampRC reference letter, written by the Managing Director, is available on request to support applications for further education, training or employment. RampRC maintains defined suitability criteria and reserves the right to refuse participation where programme standards cannot be met.
How It Works
Commissioner or Partner Enquiry
Local authorities, schools and youth organisations contact RampRC CIC to discuss cohort commissioning, age groups and referral criteria. Delivery scope and outcomes are agreed prior to programme start.
Structured 12 Week Delivery
RampRC delivers a structured 12 week programme where participants build, assemble and race radio controlled vehicles or produce digital media content linked to live project activity. Equipment, facilitators and session planning are fully provided. Attendance and engagement are monitored throughout.
Certification and Progression
Participants who complete the programme receive a Certificate of Achievement. A signed RampRC reference letter is available on request to support applications for further education, training or employment. Progression routes include further training, leadership roles and future employment pathways as RampRC CIC expands.
Individuals interested in joining should speak with their school, youth organisation or local service provider regarding referral. Direct expressions of interest may be registered where open cohorts are available.
